The first activity as a result of Superfast Worcestershire at the Romsley exchange is planned between now and June 2016. Currently the website says ‘Fibre not available. You are connected to Romsley via an ‘EO (Exchange Only) line’. Faster broadband is not available to you yet, the first cabinets in your area are expected to be upgraded by the end of the year.’
about the Superfast Worcestershire deployment. You can also register to be kept up to date.
As of Autumn 2015, the information is shown as:
A Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme is currently available in Worcestershire to enable eligible businesses and voluntary organisations to claim grants of up to £3000 towards the cost of upgrading to superfast broadband.
If you are a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) or a third-sector (voluntary/charity) organisation within Worcestershire and you have a slow or unsuitable broadband service, you can get help.
This means you can boost your connectivity and take advantage of the benefits of doing business online.
The scheme is funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and is part of the national Superfast Britain initiative.
