Talk and Walk on Public Rights of Way

map snJust a reminder that next Saturday 29th April, starting at 10am, there will be a talk and walk on Public Rights of Way starting at the Swallows Nest. In the talk part I hope to shed some light on the confusing subject of Public Rights of Way and some of the problems they create. At least that’s the plan! The walk part is about 2.5 miles with some road walking, to point out the paths that are Rights of Way , those that may be Rights of Way and those that are permissive. Its all very confusing but might become clearer on the day…

If you do plan on coming I have attached three files to this email. Two are maps of the Public Rights of Way (or some of them?) around the part of Romsley and Hunnington that the walk will cover and which might be useful to have to hand to see exactly where the different paths are. The third is a “statement” covering several of Romsley’s paths. I’ll explain what statements are all about on the day!

Regards

Stuart
