Romsley Parish Council receives £8000 from Tesco “Bags of Help” Scheme

In December 2015 Romsley Parish Council applied to Tesco for a grant to install an outdoor gym on the playing fields.

 

As part of the \”Bags Of Help\” scheme, we reached the final three to receive a grant and voting took place between Saturday 27th February and Sunday 6th March at Tesco Express stores on Dudley Road and Stourbridge Road in Halesowen, Audnam Tesco Express and Stourbridge Tesco Extra.

 

We asked you to pledge your votes and thanks to your help we have been awarded a grant of £8,000 to install an outdoor gym on the Kenelms Road playing fields.

 

We are hoping to meet with a contractor the end of April to discuss the exact location and specification of the equipment and we are hoping to have equipment installed by end June 2016.
