Proposed Order: to close that part of C2057 Dayhouse Bank from its junction with U20604 Putney Lane to its junction with B4551 Bromsgrove Road.

Reason: Safe working for overhead fibre cabling works by Openreach.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2057 Old House Lane, C2063 Newtown Lane, C2063 Oxwood Lane, C2063 Frankley Green, C2063 Frankley Green Lane, C2039 Ravenhayes Lane, C2039 Illey Lane, Illey Lane (Dudley), C2039 Illey Lane, B4551 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 22 November 2023

Reason: Footpath resurfacing & new retaining wall by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U20619 The Hedgerows, C2002 St. Kenelms Road, U20621 Dark Lane
and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 months.  Anticipated duration: 93 Days Commencing: 16 October 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2002 St Kenelms Road from its junction with C2166 Fieldhouse Lane to its junction with U20601 Ivy Lane.
Reason: Safe working for overhead fibre cabling works by Openreach

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2002 Uffmoor Lane into Dudley, B4551 Bromsgrove Road, C2002 St Kenelms Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 5 October 2023

(C2037 Farley Lane, Romsley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2037 Farley Lane from its junction with U20599 Farley Lane to its junction with U20603 Winwood Heath Road.

Reason: Kerb installation/flood prevention works by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2037 Farley Lane, C2057 Quantry Lane, B4551 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 18 September 2023

St Kenelms Road, Romsley – Emergency Closure (10th July)

Reason for restriction: Burst water main.  There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

 

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with C2002 Uffmoor Lane to its junction with B4551 Bromsgrove Road.

 

  1. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 5 days commencing 10 July 2023.

 

  1. Alternative routes: – C2002 Uffmoor Lane, A456 Manor Way (Westbound),
    A456 Manor Way (Eastbound), Grange Hill, Dudley, B4551 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa.

 

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U20621 Dark Lane from its junction with B4551 Bromsgrove Road to its junction with U20622 Poplar Lane.

Reason: Sewer works by Network Plus.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U20622 Poplar Lane, B4551 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 months.  Anticipated duration: 12 days.  Commencing: 31 July 2023.
