We continue to live in unprecedented and difficult times trying to stem the rapid spread of Coronavirus. It is now more important than ever that we follow guidelines to protect the health and the lives of our vulnerable and elderly residents. We need to act now to protect one another, prevent the virus from spreading further and reduce the demand for our hospitals
The Government has recently announced its roadmap out of Lockdown. We have detailed a handy one page guide below.
Below we have added some links to resources that are available to help. Worcestershire County Council’s Here2Help service is available to anyone who needs support or is clinically extremely vulnerable (shielding). If you have no-one to turn to for help, this service can respond and provide help such as collecting medicines and getting shopping. We have also added links to other official resources that can help with mental wellbeing and managing messaging to loved ones.
We have a wonderful community spirit in Romsley. While we are all at home, please do remember to check on vulnerable or isolated residents. Just a phone call or a text message can provide a vital link to the outside world and can ensure those who need comfort or help, have someone to turn to. If you are checking on vulnerable residents please remember to adhere to social distance guidelines.
We thank you all for continuing to follow guidelines and support each other. Together we are stronger and we will hopefully see brighter days in 2021.
Best wishes and Stay Safe
