May Wild Garlic Walk 2017

Hello All

Thanks again to those of you who could make today’s walk. Those of you who couldn’t, well, you missed a treat as the wild garlic was at its best. The weather wasn’t quite what we’ve become accustomed to on parish walks though – we had a few drops of rain near the end! It was good to see a few new faces amongst the twenty of us who enjoyed the walk, I hope the “regulars” will not misconstrue that, I’m always glad to see you!

I mentioned, when the walk went along the permissive path in Ell wood that someone had sent me some photos of a shelter that had been built in the wood. I’ve attached a couple of photos of it along with the walk group photo. I thought it was quite an impressive effort!

I look forward to seeing those who can make the next walk, The Orchid walk on 17th June. Lets hope the wild flowers give as good a showing as the garlic.
