Please keep to the paths…
We are aware of issues in our parish where path users are not keeping to the paths and are straying across private land and farmland. This is particularly a problem where fields appear to be just grass and considered by many not be a crop, when in fact they are used for livestock and to produce haylage. There are quite a few such fields in Romsley that have for years been set to grass for this purpose but which should not be considered to be public parks.
We are always keen to improve the public paths network across the Parish for the benefit of path users. Trespassing and damage leads to a loss of goodwill and co-operation from landowners making our attempts to improve these wonderful assets difficult to achieve.
