Finance & Budgets – Effective financial control is at the heart of efficient government. We have moved from a paper based accounting system to a computer based approach giving us stronger financial control and allowing us to produce open and easy to understand accounts which we will share with everyone in the community.
We have also established a rolling 4 year budget forecast which is linked to the objectives and levels of service we have set in the Parish Plan. This has been used to set precept levels, to justify funding from other tiers of Government and as supporting evidence when we bid for money from external funding bodies.
The National Association of Local Councils Model Financial Regulations were adopted by the council at its meeting held on 9th September 2019.
